Tis’ the season to be thankful! It should come as no surprise, now and always, that we are immensely grateful for each and every single one of the showrooms and galleries that make up our Design District community. But beyond sharing what we’re thankful for, we wanted to give the showrooms and galleries the opportunity to share what they’re most thankful for this year. Read on to find out what a handful of them had to say.

Arsin Rug Gallery
This year the Arsin Rug Gallery team is most thankful for our clients and a supportive design community that has shown resilience during times of adversity over the past year and a half. It is an honor and a privilege to serve the industry. In addition, we thank our peers for the continued trust in our brand and look forward to serving the Dallas community for years to come.

Benson-Cobb
Here at Benson-Cobb, we are so thankful for the continuous support we receive from designers and collectors alike. Over the years, we have cultivated wonderful relationships that have led to our longevity in the industry – to them, we owe so much. We are also grateful to be surrounded by colleagues who challenge and motivate us to deliver the best product possible.

D. Fadal Designing Workroom
We are thankful for the continued support we have received from the design community for over 20 years!! We look forward to continuing to grow and earn their trust!

Fabricut Dallas
Our entire staff here at Fabricut – Dallas are grateful for our continued health and resilience amid the current and ongoing global pandemic. Thankful to our clientele, their continued patronage and cooperation in keeping safe and mindful helping Us have a very Productive year.

Lantern & Scroll
We here at Lantern & Scroll have so much for which to be thankful. It hasn’t been easy for any small business getting through the past 18 months, but we consider ourselves so lucky that our customers are as incredible as ever and that, because of them, our doors are still open and we are going strong.

We are always thankful for our amazing team at Dallas Market’s The Gallery. Their constant positivity and helpfulness make us feel like we are in good hands – even with the many changes and challenges, they have faced recently.

We feel blessed for the fact that we are an American company and that our lanterns are proudly made in the USA, and that we didn’t have to deal with the shortages that so many companies have been facing recently. We also are fortunate that our main material – copper – has been readily available for us and our lead times have not grown which is unusual for the construction and design industries.

Finally, we are so thankful for our health, our grit, and our hopefulness for the future of our business and all the other small businesses out there.

Liliana Block Gallery
The Liliana Bloch Gallery team is thankful for many things this year. The most important one is to have our business standing with all our team members working with us as we have since our inception. While Covid has been an unprecedented crisis, it has taught us many lessons about adaptability, introspection, empathy, and the healing power of art in our lives. For those of us who have been able to stay safe and healthy finding a new way to operate as a business, we can’t thank our clients, our government, and our community for their continued support.

We are thankful for the introspection that the pandemic has allowed us. Perhaps it was long overdue for most of us. We are grateful that in tragedy we found support and mutual understanding. We are proud to say that our gallery continues to be a place of learning and reflection, having adapted our programming to the sensibilities of our times. We are showing once again that by being bold and daring to address urgent issues, we do more for our clients than decorate. We make people think about the human condition and what a life well lived should be.

We follow Socrates’ belief: the unexamined life is not worth living. And we are thankful for the freedom to follow our bliss. A heartfelt thank you to each one of you who made this year a successful one. And for those who made it harder, we are not broken and we treasured all the lessons learned. -Liliana Bloch and the LBG team

Peacock Alley
At Peacock Alley, our first answer will always be, “a comfy, cozy bed to crawl into every night.” We will never take this basic luxury for granted. This year, however, we are especially thankful for the health and welfare of our skilled artisans and employees, right here in Dallas, who have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic to keep our production flowing seamlessly. We are fortunate to enter this holiday season with a very healthy inventory and a showroom full of beautiful products, ready to take home and wrap. As many are dealing with frustrating delays and out-of-stock notifications, we do not take this for granted. In our world, this is what sweet dreams are made of.

Scott + Cooner
We are thankful for our clients and their incredible talent, it is such a pleasure to help them create beautiful spaces. As the new owners of Scott + Cooner, we are also thankful for Lloyd and Josy’s support, and the support of the Design District community. -Amanda and Jud Taylor

Solara Custom Doors & Lighting
At Solara Custom Doors & Lighting, we are thankful for the little things that make life great. We are especially thankful and humbled by the continued loyalty, patience, and understanding from our customers throughout the ups and downs we have all had to face.  None of this would have been possible without the support of our teammates and coworkers, who have become more than just friends, but family. The Dallas Design District has become home to us all and it has proven itself as the best place to be in!  We are grateful to be part of this community so full of hope and strongly committed to the continued growth of our industry. May we always be thankful for hard lessons that in the end only make us stronger.

TKO Associates
This season at TKO, we are particularly thankful for the resilience displayed by our communities. From our small office staff, who has tirelessly adapted to regulation and supply chain challenges in order to best serve their clients and each other, to our clients’ and vendors’ determined pursuits of their creative visions; we have witnessed the passions of those we work with. While life is never perfect, we thank our Dallas community members for the loyalty and grace we have experienced during these tumultuous times. We celebrate you this holiday season! We are happy that our doors are open, and that you want to come see us.

Unique Loom
As the year is nearing to a close, Unique Loom has taken the time to reflect on what we are most thankful for. We are thankful for our Dallas Showroom Manager, Margo Bryan, and our trade team who are always working hard to ensure our markets run smoothly. We’re also grateful for the opportunity to keep our Dallas Showroom doors open daily during these unprecedented times. We look forward to another great year of markets!

So, what are you most thankful for this year? Whatever it may be, we hope you have the chance to revel in it this season. And, on behalf of our entire Dallas Design District family, Happy Thanksgiving to all!
